About Albion Hatch

Great coffee should be a short walk away, not a trip across town. Albion Hatch is a planned micro-format coffee and pastry hatch at Albion Place, 1 Albion Springs Close in Rondebosch, Cape Town.

Built for resident mornings

We’re creating a convenient morning stop for residents: specialty espresso, flat whites, cappuccinos, artisanal teas and grab-and-go bakery bites. Whether you’re heading to work, doing the school run or settling into your home office, the idea is simple: proper coffee, zero detour.

Small hatch. Thoughtful choices.

Our planned menu pairs barista-made coffee with croissants, muffins and health or protein rusks sourced from a local Cape Town bakery. Planned operating hours are 06:30–10:30; opening details and the final menu will be confirmed at launch.

A ritual closer to home

We’re planning WhatsApp pre-orders and an Albion Monthly Pass: 20 coffees for R650 per month. Availability, eligible drinks and redemption terms will be shared before the pass opens. We’re building this hatch around one promise: make the neighbourhood morning a little better.
